Painshill Park just north of Guildford, was created in the eighteenth century by Charles Hamilton, who wanted to create a romantic landscape to stimulate the senses and emotions of the visitor.

Painshill has a wonderful collection of trees and shrubs, a walled garden, plants still growing as they were in the eighteenth century, a very large lake with hundreds of swans and ducks, a grotto where thousands visit Father Christmas each year, a Gothic temple, a Turkish tent, and many other attractions including a restaurant where you will be able to buy lunch, a gift shop, and for those who can't walk far, electric buggies on which you can have a guided tour.

At present we are unable to give you a price, as it depends on the numbers wanting to go.
